Get to Know Cheryl

For Cheryl, creating isn't just something she does—it's her happy place.

Her creative journey really began to take off a few years ago, when she discovered how peaceful and relaxed she felt whenever she was working on a project. What started with watching videos, admiring other artists' work, and experimenting with new ideas quickly became something she found herself thinking about all day long.

 

Then she discovered Creative Sol Makery—and a whole new creative world opened up. Suddenly there were products, techniques, textures, and possibilities she'd never even known existed. Her curiosity took over, and there was no turning back.

 

Today, Cheryl creates bold, feminine mixed-media art using paint, ceramics, wood, fabric, clay, decoupage, and whatever else happens to capture her imagination. She loves striking colors—especially rich, earthy fall tones—and creating pieces that make a statement without losing their sense of warmth and peacefulness.

Her work isn't about making the same thing over and over again. In fact, that's part of the magic. No two pieces are exactly alike. Each one evolves as she creates it, combining materials, color, texture, and instinct until it becomes something entirely its own. Cheryl hopes that when someone sees one of her pieces, the first thing they feel is simple:

Joy.

 

Her Mindz Eye is also part of a much bigger dream. Cheryl hopes to continue learning, attending workshops and creative retreats, experimenting with new techniques, and eventually turning this creative life she loves into her retirement adventure.

Because at the end of the day, Her Mindz Eye isn't about mass-produced décor.

It's created, not manufactured.
